composition

I have composed music alone and with my writing partnership with Jiak 10/24 called “Walter Sopchak And The Jesus” for Television, movies and Ads. In 40 years combined experience, there is no style we can't do. I have also co-written on album projects.

The ad landscape by far is the most fast pace moving sector. You need to be quick, efficient and direct. You need the necessary skills to understand how creatives, artist and musicians think and relay those ideas to images that capture the audiences imagination.

The record industry allows more time to get things done but brings other challenges. It requires psychological skills to push and get the most from your artist without destroying their confidence. Communication and honesty will take you far.

Mastering

This art form is the most misunderstood especially with newer artists. A great mastering can take a average recording and mix to higher standards. I also offer instant Mastering. Low cost and you get your tracks back quickly. Very different from those sites who offer software mastering, there is an actual human doing the work.

Recording

Recording is a mixture of technique, emotion and instinct. Be open to ideas and different ways of doing things. Learn from everyone and mold it all into your own style. There are no rules, only results.

Mixing

I think is the most subjective art form. There are so many options. Have an idea of where you want to go and get there in any way possible.

Analog Sevices

If you want to run your tracks trough some top notch analog gear I offer this service at a very reasonable rate. Warm up those digital tracks by introducing depth and width.
